White-Water Rescue Staff in Action
Our white water safety and rescue trained staff worked to keep kayakers safe at the British Universities' river race and slalom events.
We have a strong background in providing water safety and rescue cover to kayaking and swimming events and have worked with some of the largest adventure races in the UK as well as the biggest canoe slalom event. Past clients have included the British Army and we are proud to be official safety partners for both the BUCS (formerly BUSA) Canoe Slalom and Whitewater Race.
All our safety teams are trained (as a minimum requirement) in the following:
- Whitewater safety and rescue
- Emergency outdoor first aid
Many of our safety partners also draw on vast experience in other disciplines such as raft-guiding, beach lifeguarding and many are qualified in swiftwater rescue and wildernes medical techniques. From white-water to open lakes, we can help you out.
White-Water Rescue Staff in Action
Working in small teams, our staff use a variety of techniques to provide white water rescues as appropriate. Staff may use Throwlining, Chase-Boating, Live Baiting (entering the water to assist a swimmer), right down to simply providing a helping hand.
